How did it all begin?
SEEEMS is the brainchild of Michel Jarrd Lutz. In 2002 Michel was working as an independent programmer. Product SEEEMS.CMS was born - an online content management system for designing and maintaining websites. In less than two months the product was conceived and the first sale made, with Michel as sole developer and programmer in the company. He then joined forces with a skilled designer, who both helped design the first interface for SEEEMS.CMS as well as providing more customers through his network. Shortly after, the first advertising agencies came on board to sell the product.
Developing
SEEEMS.ApS was formed in 2003. In 2006 an additional company was opened in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and responsibility for development of SEEEMS was split between there and Denmark. The Bulgarian office developed very quickly, growing from 2 to 16 employees with another branch in Sofia. Apart from Danish SEEEMS.ApS their first customers were primarily small entrepreneurial businesses that outsourced their programming missions abroad.
Moving on
In 2008, the Bulgarian company was split into two completely separate organisations. The original organisation was continued by Michel's former partner in SEEEMS.ApS, now concentrating exclusively on building an outsourcing company. Three talented Bulgarian programmers, who were already involved in development and implementation tasks for SEEEMS.ApS, moved over to newly formed SEEEMS Ltd in Plovdiv. The company currently has six permanent employees and also uses freelancers.
Where next?
Today, SEEEMS.ApS has an entire suite of products. SEEEMS.CMS remains the main product. SEEEMS.ApS’ latest venture is the development platform SEEEMS.FRAMEWORK that other providers can use to develop the next version of their own CMS. Michel continues to act as project manager and programmer, but delegates more and more of these tasks to his skilled staff, who work professionally and with dedication in order to bring his vision to life - to provide the most flexible tool to build any Web Content Management System.
